Bolts will be fielding competitive teams in each age group for the US Youth Futsal Regionals in January. We held tryouts and selected 10 players for each age group. In addition to the tryout dates, each player will have 6 training sessions leading to the tournament on Jan 16-18th, 2016

Sam Viana
Coach Sam has been involved in soccer and futsal coaching for the past 15 years. From 1998 to 2010 he coached and developed futsal programs in the Northern Boston region. In 2010 he moved back to his native Brazil where he was highly successful coaching at the academy level in the cities of Cuiabá and Rio de Janeiro. His teams achieved excellent results at state, national, and international competitions. Former players have gone on to some of the top Brazilian academies, including Flamengo, Fluminense, Vasco, Botafogo, Palmeiras, São Paulo, among others. Coach Sam holds the coveted Brazilian Federation (CBF) B License.
Cesar Salazar

Coach Cesar is a former college futsal player from Peru and founder of Revere F.C., which merged with F.C. Bolts in 2007. He has utilized futsal as a training tool for the past 10+ years. Revere F.C. Bolts teams have a great historical record at competitions, with the U13 team winning the 2009 Futsal National Championship. The Revere futsal program is regarded for its player development history, highlighted by Mimi Kenway’s call up to the USA National Futsal Team. Other former players have moved on to play for F.C. Bolts academies and Division I Colleges.

Rodrigo Martinez

Coach Rodrigo played for competitive youth divisions of Universitario de Deportes – Peru (1995 – 2005). He played professional Futsal from 2006-2014 for U. San Ignacio de Loyola, Club Deportivo America San Juan, Universitario de Deportes and Universidad San Martin de Porres. Martinez represented the Peruvian Futsal National team in 2009 and 2013 and also represented the U21 Peruvian Futsal national team in 2006 and 2008. He is a current member of Mass Soccer participating in a competitive league 11 v 11 in the New England area.
Eric Parada
Coach Eric is a former academy player at Odivelas F.C. in Portugal, moving up through the U19 ranks. His coaching career began in 1995 at Portugal’s futsal first division side Club Academic of Odivelas. From 2002 to 2011 he moved to Athletic Club of Odivelas, coaching U11 to U14 sides. In 2012, Coach Eric moved to the U.S., coaching at New England Futsal Academy clinics and teams (U10, U16, and U19). His teams have had superb showings at both the regional and national level, finishing in the top 4 at the U.S. Futsal tournament on 4 occasions and winning the Men’s Open third division championship. Coach Eric is a First Level certified futsal coach by the Football Association of Lisbon.
